Why we think Goldendoodles are the BEST!
Goldendoodles are notoriously smart, they make awesome companions, have great personalities, and they are eager to please. "Doodlely" goldendoodles have more poodle than golden retriever, making it likely that they will also have a coat that has minimal-to-no shedding, and will be good for people with allergies. The more curly the coat, the less shedding you will see.
Intelligence and Personality
Poodles and golden retrievers make the grade when it comes to doggie smarts -- ranking 1st and 3rd on the list, and both breeds make excellent family and service dogs, and are easy to train and eager to please. In the past, I've always owned golden retrievers, and love their personality, intelligence, and how awesome they are with kids. When I discovered that my kids were both allergic to dogs, I was so sad, because our golden retriever could no longer be in the house. So, after he passed away, I decided to get a goldendoodle. I love that my goldendoodles can be in the house without causing allergic reactions for my kids, and I love that they don't leave hair under all the furniture, on my clothes, and on the seats of my car.
