Sophie and Dak's Puppies

Sophie and Dak's puppies began arriving on March 29th. There are eight healthy puppies, 6 girls, and 2 boys. All these puppies have found their forever homes and will be going to their forever homes around May 24th..

Dak is our Stud!

Dak is a 75-pound F2B, which means he is 62.5% poodle, and 37.5% golden retriever. The 2020 puppies will be 68.5% poodle, and 31.25% golden retriever. We are expecting that most of the puppies will have the curly, non-shedding coat, or possibly the wavy, low-shedding coat.

Dak is a super sweet, friendly, out-going boy.

Meet the Girls

They're Doodlely Goldendoodles!

Both Ginger and Sophie are F1b Goldendoodles, or as I like to call them, "Doodlely Goldendoodles." They are 75% poodle -- each has one parent that is a purebred poodle, and the other parent is an F1 Goldendoodle (an offspring of a purebred golden retriever and a purebred poodle). They are non-shedding and many people who are allergic to dogs, like my children, for example, are not reactive to Goldendoodles. Ginger is a first-generation F1b, and Sophie is a second-generation F1b, from Ginger's first litter (Sophie's father was also an F1b). I love having two golden doodles, as they play a lot with each other.

Smart and eager to please, Ginger always wants to be by my side. She loves to go anywhere that I go, whether it's just a ride in the car to pick up the kids from school, or a trip to the dog park, or a camping trip. She loves hiking, and will always come when I call her. She likes to play fetch and play with her daughter Sophie, who was born in 2017.

Ginger is very affectionate with her own family, but tends to be a bit reserved and protective at first, which helps me to feel safer when I'm out walking alone. I think her bark would tend to scare off any would-be home invaders.

She thinks she's a lap dog, and will cuddle up in your lap if you let her. She is devoted and obedient, and our constant companion.

Sophie has a heart of gold. She always seems to have that golden retriever smile on her face, and she loves to meet new friends. Like her mother, she also loves to go anywhere that we go -- especially walks, jogs, trips to the dog park, hiking and camping.

She is a bit of a goof-ball and super sweet. She is as smart as any dog I've met, is easy to train and is very obedient.

Not only has she been our constant companion, she loves hanging out and playing with her Mom. I've really enjoyed having them both.
